CSS and CARP Design
What's the difference?
The only thing that changed was the style of the poem. We didn't change the poem itself. Its still all the same wording. All the style information went into all the colors we changed, and all the text styles and text fonts. Every difference you see is where all the style information went into.

CARP
Contrast
This project had a lot of contrast. All the colors we used was from the dog picture. The only one we didn't use from the dog was the black background because we wanted it to be fully black not a lighter shade of black.
Alignment
The placing of text is very important when you are working on a poem. You want it to be either center aligned or left aligned. For this poem we did it all on the left side because it made it look better and it was easier to read then the center aligned.
Repetition
The colors were repetition. As well as the text style and font. Other than that there wasn't much repetition. I think the biggest repetition was color and we already talked about that in contrast.
Proximity
Proximity is the grouping. The thing that we did for proximity was the test. There was certain text that we made italics and that was the beginning paragraph. So, you know that, that was a group together. And the rest of the text was normal. And so you knew that all that text was a group together.
What did I learn?
I learned how to add a certain type of text in the code. Before they only had certain types of "text families" that you could choose from. But now, you just type in the code the name of the font you want and it changes all that text in that section to the font you want. Over all I felt a lot more comfortable in this "web project" than the first one.
